Games for this weekend №1

Weekly digest of new Tabletopia games

Hi folks! We think it’s a good idea to post a weekly list of games which have recently been published on Tabletopia. So, that’s what we’ve decided to do! With Tabletopia, you will always be able to try something new.

Today, we are happy to present to you

1. Mage Wars Academy

What would it be like be a powerful Mages, studying your art, and honing your craft, at the Academy in the world of Mage Wars?  How would you spells work against each other? How could different spells and equipment work in battle?  How could your choices, your strategy and your decisions turn the tides of battle?

Unlike Arena, Mage Wars Academy from Arcane Wonders is played in an area, without a board.  This unique design implements both freedom and speed of play into the Mage Wars system.  All creatures are considered to be in the same zone, making combat, and choices, challenging and exciting!

We have created this game using the Hidden zones instead of the player screens. You can learn more about using Hidden zones by following this link.

In this game from Red Raven Games, players take command of a ship and crew. You sail to island towns, collecting resources, hiring crew, and commissioning buildings for your capital city. You also recruit pirates and sea monsters to conquer towns, which, once conquered, allow you to complete the town action for free, and charge a fee to opponents if they want to use it. Alternatively, you can complete events that give influence, which can be used to befriend towns.

Will you be a ruthless conqueror, careful diplomat, or shrewd merchant? The player with the most the most wealth and most-impressive capital city will win the game!

And finally, a message for all game creators - if you think that your game is ready, just drop us an email - support@tabletopia.com. We will take a look at it, and may give you some recommendations on how to improve the digital version of your game. Afterwards, we can also include it in one of these announcements.

In December, early access will be granted to more backers, so there will be more users on our site. And at the beginning of next year, we will open the game catalog to the general public.

We hope you will get the audience for your game :)

Have a good week! Play games! Have fun!
